Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate oil Review

Hey everyone,

I am back with another skincare product review, this is first of its kind on my blog as I have never used a product like this in my skincare routine ever before. I was introduced to this product when my buddies Krithi and Fiona raved about it on their blog.

So, I am talking about a cult favourite product from the organic brand Pai Skincare. Being a combination skin type usage of oil or heavy creams is always unlikely for me and knowing that I still decided to take the plunge. Do I fancy it? Read on….

Product name: Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate oil

Quantity: 30ml / 1 fl oz

Price: Rs 1900 / $37

About Pai skincare: (As per their website)

Pai BioRegenerate™ Rosehip Oil is rich in concentrated Trans-Retinoic Acid, an essential fuel for the skin's natural repair function.Rosehip is the ultimate skin multi-tasker. With regular use, it conditions the skin, improving skin firmness and elasticity.

High levels of Trans-Retinoic Acid are delivered directly to the epidermis, which converts to Vitamin A to boost the skin's natural healing process.

Clinical studies show Rosehip is effective at improving the appearance of scars, stretch marks, sun damage and fine lines.

My experience with the product:

This oil comes in a frosted glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the required amount and I think it works just fine without any hassle. I have been using this product since three months now. At first, I was using this oil every single day before retiring to bed and I was wowed by the results at how radiant my skin looked the next morning. However, I noticed that after a period of 10 days or so my skin stopped reacting to this product and I was hugely disappointed. And then one day I happened to read the instructions on the box and it stated that for best results use it 2-3 times a week and that was it. I rediscovered this precious and it has and will always be part of my skincare.

How I use it:

After cleansing my skin at night I spray the Avene Eau thermal spring water all over my face and while my skin is still damp I take 2-3 drops of the Pai Rosehip oil and apply it all over my face and neck with light pressing motions. I do not massage this oil on my skin as doing so breaks me out. I use it 30 minutes before going to bed and it does not leave any stains on the bed linen.

When you first apply it, your face will look oily as the oil takes a moment to absorb but within a few minutes you will notice that there is no stickiness or oil residue left as your skin soaks it all leaving you with brighter and softer skin that is like butter to touch but in a nice way. If you have extremely dry skin you may like to follow it with a night cream or a serum but I just stop here.

I have noticed that after incorporating this dry oil in my skincare has helped me balance the oil production of my skin, my skin is less oily and my break outs are under control, I am yet to see the lightening of the previous scars I think prolonged usage will take care of that too, it controls the redness on the skin, heals any dry patches around the skin. Does not work as an anti-aging product as claimed but slightly softens the lines upon application. It is a brilliant product that I will forever repurchase.

Final thoughts:

It is not available in India so I would be ordering more than one for backup the next time. You are required to use up the product within 6 months from the time you open the bottle. This 30ml bottle will easily last you 6 months. This Rosehip oil is made for all skin types including sensitive and mature. This oil is packed with simplest and purest ingredients with high-performance actives to restore your skins natural radiance. This skincare line is organic and safe. This little gem is a multitasker and can be used for various skin concerns. If you can get your hands on it don’t think twice.

Do you use any facial oils? Do you have a favourite? Please feel free to share about a product that you love the most. I would love to try it.

Thanks for reading.

    1. Ya babe, it has helped me combat acne trouble and has improved my skin texture. Yes altering it's usage is the best way to get its benefits.

  3. I'm using this currently as well and my experience is very similar to yours. It moisturises well but there's no glow or plumpness in the morning. It's something I often got with Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and I really miss it here!
I should probably try alternating the usage as well and see what happens. :)

    1. Exactly, using it on a daily basis would do no good to the skin. I am yet to try the Kiehls Midnight recovery concentrate, I have heard such rave reviews about it. I am gonna try that next.
